1. Temperature (1) If the temperature of the hot fuser (glue pot) is too high, the edge sealing hot melt adhesive will be severely oxidized or even carbonized, thereby changing the adhesive properties and having a negative effect on the adhesive force. When the temperature of the glue pot is too low, the edge sealing glue fails to melt completely, resulting in poor fluidity, reduced viscosity, uneven glue application, and weakened adhesion. (2) The use temperature set when the edge banding machine is working is too low or too high, which will affect the edge sealing quality of the edge sealing glue. (3) When the ambient temperature during the edge sealing operation is too low, it will also seriously affect the edge sealing effect of the hot melt adhesive. If possible, try to adjust the production workshop temperature to 15-30 ℃ during operation.

2. Humidity (1) If the humidity of the substrate or the edge banding strip is too high (that is, the water content is too large), when exposed to the high temperature edge banding hot melt adhesive, the moisture will be immediately atomized and volatilized, which will form a layer of water vapor between the substrate and the edge banding strip, thus affecting the bonding effect. (2) When performing edge sealing operations, excessive humidity in the workshop environment will also cause poor bonding effect. 3. Production speed (1) The working speed of the edge banding machine needs to be set according to the substrates of different materials. Different plates, different edge banding strips and different edge banding adhesives need to adjust the appropriate edge banding speed according to the actual situation. (2) speeding up the edge sealing speed will keep the hot melt adhesive in the (high temperature) liquefied state, which can strengthen the penetration of the adhesive, but the opening time will be shortened accordingly. 4. Glue roller (1) When the temperature of the rubber roller is high, the fluidity of the rubber increases, and the penetration force is enhanced, so that the sticky substrate becomes wet. The time required for cooling and solidification after edge sealing becomes longer, resulting in a decrease in production efficiency. (2) In order to improve the production efficiency and improperly set the temperature of the glue roller is low, the adhesive force and penetration force of the edge sealing glue will be weakened, resulting in poor adhesion effect.

5. Bonding substrate (plate) (1) The substrate is suitable for use in an environment above 15°C to have a good bonding effect. If the substrate temperature is too low, equipment can be used to preheat the substrate and edge banding. (2) If the temperature of the substrate and the edge banding strip is too low, during the edge banding operation, the hot melt adhesive will contact the low temperature substrate, which will cause the temperature to drop sharply, thus affecting the permeability of the adhesive and eventually leading to poor bonding effect.
