The softening point of EVA hot melt gum is generally between 90-135 °C.

The use temperature of sealing hot melt glue refers to the temperature of the adhesive on the coated roll of the sealing machine. Only at this temperature can the hot melt glue achieve the best adhesive strength. There is a considerable difference between the temperature displayed on some sealing machines and the actual temperature, so the temperature of the machine must be adjusted regularly. The high temperature of the sealing machine will make the glue carbonize and smoke. Too low, will make adhesive strength drop again.
